Luke 22:32

Hello All,

It's been a good week here in Grove City. The highlight of the week is definitely the fact that the Holidays are upon us!! We have done so much decorating for Christmas and had so many holiday feasts this week it is CRAZY! Thanksgiving was nice, we spent the evening with The Voss
family. Brother Voss is very nice and he shared a lot of his mission stories with us as well as helping us get some insights on things we could do better to work with members of the church in our area.
We also met some really cool people this week. One of my favorite parts of being a missionary is hearing people's stories. We see so many people every day and if we took 5 minutes to get to know these strangers we would find so much more. Especially talking to people about their faith! In the Bible Dictionary it talks about how Faith is kindled by hearing other's faith. I didn't come on a mission for myself but as I have shared my faith with others and as I have listened to their incredible stories of faith I vas found more happiness and faith than I ever imagined.

Exciting events this week included exchanges with our Lovely Sister Training Leaders. Sister Hill and I partied in Scioto for the day. It was fun getting to know her, being uplifted by her smiling face,
introducing her to our amazing ward members, eating pre Thanksgiving pie with her and just learning from her. We also got to go see Crystal be baptized. She walked into our ward about 2 months ago after having learned everything about the Mormon church on her own, was taught by the Sister Training Leaders in her area and is on track to be a spiritual giant! I can't wait to see her go through the Temple! Also I taught Sister Williams how to play the piano. And we decorated everywhere!! Life is good here in Scioto ❤

This weeks spiritual thought comes from the New Testament. In this
chapter of Luke Christ tells us,
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

There are so many people in the world that need a lift. While Christ is the ultimate source of strength and comfort, he did not leave us comfort less on this earth. He left us His Spirit and people all
around us to love and support us. As soon as we receive the strength we need from the Savior we need to turn around and offer that same power to those people in our lives who need it. This week take some time to find people in your life that could use a lift, and help the savior lift them up.
Everybody go watch the video on Christmas.mormon.org it's a powerful one. Go share it and discover for yourself why we have a savior!!

Love you all,
