"I think last nights dinner started the process of obesity..." -Sister Morgan

Hello all,

Life is good in Scioto. We've had a pretty standard missionary week. We've talked to a few really cool people. Grove City had a really nice Arts festival and we met such a cool artist. She was so inspiring. She has started a project trying to raise awareness of veterans and the suicide rate of veterans. She interviews them, gets to know their story, and tries to help them see the value in their service and the
good lessons they have learned. She then paints them with smiles on their faces. She's a fantastic artist but what really inspired me was her drive. She hasn't gotten any significant grants for her project yet, but she has vision. She wants to travel and spread the word and interview more veterans and help more people, she's doing what she can for who she can and always trying to be better. We talked to her about religion and she says she's currently still searching and asked us how we had gotten into the art of ministry. I thought it was cool she calls it an art. I talked a lot about that drive that I saw in her project, and how that's what I want to do for others through the gospel. She doesn't live in our area so we won't be able to teach her, but we are sending them to her studio to talk to her more. I loved talking to her, sharing with her, and walked away wanting to be a better missionary and person and help ALL THE PEOPLE!!! This weeks subject line comes from sister Morgan after our marathon of food yesterday. I got so many good gifts from friends, family, and members. The family we ate with was so sweet and made us sooooooo much food. I was stuffed by the end of the day; with food and love

The Scripture of the Week comes From my favorite chapter in Ether;
Ether 12:41
41 And now, I would commend you to seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written, that the grace of God the Father, and also the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of them, may be and abide in you forever. Amen. I love the Savior. I know that he is our strength. I know that if we seek him, learn of him, and follow him we will find peace, happiness,
and everything we have ever wanted!!
Go find him this week. Thanks for all of the birthday wishes and Love. You are all fantastic,
beautiful people! Have a spectacular week!

Love,
