Dearest People,
Life is good! I hope the rest of you are feeling on top of the world! We had an awesome lesson in church on Sunday where we talked about how blessed each one of us is and I have been feeling super grateful ever since then! It's been a fun week full of lots of people, some cute puppies, productive meetings, car troubles, soccer, running, and SNOW! Here are some things you should know;
1)Our winter coats work 👌🏻✌🏻️😁 winter fell upon us during church on Sunday. We went in the church at 8:45 AM and the wind was blowing but it didn't look too bad. Then at 12:45 we walked out to a couple inches of fresh snow 😕 It's been an adventure full of fleece lined leggings, gloves, hand knitted scarves, snow boot, and puffy coats but we made it through our first winter day. Pics will be included to convey the proper emotions 👌🏻
2) We are still talking to everyone, and even their dogs. We saw a lot of cute puppies this week ❤️
3) While we were talking to everyone we met a few cool people this week. We had some long talks with Scot and Julie. They both have strong faith in God but neither does the church thing right now. They had never met Mormons before and invited us in to talk about our church. We had a really good discussion on the Gospel and the blessings that can come from living it. They were very interested In The Book of Mormon and we can't wait to go back and help them learn more. We also met TJ. We had talked to his wife before, but he answered the door this time. We asked him about his faith and we had a really nice discussion on how he was raised and he opened up and asked us questions about our faith. We taught him about the unique messages we have to offer (The Book of Mormon, Priesthood authority, and modern day revelation) and he enjoyed it all. He promised us he would read the Book of Mormon and we will hopefully get to teach his whole family soon.
4)Thrift Stores are where it's at 👌🏻
5)Sister Chadwick is a rock star❤️
6) Gratitude really is the key to happiness. Christ gives us the tools to take what we have NOW and make it the best. We don't have to wait for more, or long for the past, whatever we have is perfect. Happiness is an inside job!

Life is just really good. The spiritual thought of the day is to remember that! Everybody has stuff in their life that can make them sad. Everybody faces trials. Everybody will step in poop at some point in their life. Everybody has problems but what we all have to work on controlling is our reaction. We can choose to make the best of it or stew in our goo. The Lord designed us to be happy. Christ made it so we don't have to be afraid. If We have faith in him, hope for the future, and love for others because of him we can work miracles.
Seriously folks, life is good. Smile today, and share that smile with someone else so we can all feel a little better able it today. Stay warm, keep your heads up, and stay strong. LOVE YA ❤️
